Revised Race Schedule

I'm revising my race schedule. Think I'll stick to 10K's for a while and just try to let it get faster and easier.

I'm adding weight loss goals to this list. While I admittedly would like to get faster, I'm not sure whether it isrealistic. I'm not I'll even be able to train enough to do these distances. I feel like I can realistically decide to lose weight, though, so even if I can't run as fast or as far as I want to by then, I can at least be happy about meeting some fitness goals. If I can't run fast, at least I'll look better in my race clothes.

✔ Feb 7, 2010 - Superbowl Run, Santa Cruz - Lose 8 Lbs by then. I'll be at my initial Weight Watchers goal weight, be Sub-Athena for most races, and at my Hawaii 70.3 weight from May 2008.
- Yay! Did this race, and made my weight goal. (OK, I was 0.2 pounds over, but close enough.)

Charity Run for postpartum depression. Has a jogging stroller division. :) I'll try to be 10.5 lbs below my weight when I originally wrote this list.

April 11, 2010 - Santa Cruz Half Marathon - Lose 13 lbs by then. OK, there is a 10K race, too, so I'm going to do that instead. http://www.firstwave-events.com/sc_half/.
